La hermosa y pacífica sencillez de Manuel Reyna


Hagamos un poco de historia: Manuel Reyna nació en 1912 en un sitio del Valle de Punilla, centro de nuestras serranías. Desarrolló tareas rudas desde temprana edad. Nunca pudo llegar a los claustros académicos. Todo esto era un mundo distante para este trabajador que soñaba con ese espíritu mágico y fantástico de los artistas.


Recién en 1950 Reyna se inició tímidamente, en el quehacer de la pintura. Pero desde sus primeros pasos, ese mundo interior que lo tenía inquieto, comenzó a aflorar con un estilo propio, con un vigor muy difícil de descubrir a través de la simple teoría.


Luego de una extensa carrera en Córdoba Capital, de ganar numerosos premios y participar en Salones y Exposiciones como pueden consultar en su página manuelreyna


Siendo merecedores de los siguientes Homenajes


Homenaje del Centro Vecinal Barrio La France Miércoles 18 de Diciembre de 1963, por l a obtención del Tercer premio del Salón de Córdoba


Los Hermanos Reyna y un Homenaje Manuel, Oscar y Antonio, Municipalidad de


San Marcos Sierras Domingo 19 de Abril de 1987.

Bear in mind we are dealing with works of art, so they may be in an exhibition (actually, this is awesome!). Those artworks which are in an exhibition are usually displayed as “non-available”. In case the artwork has been put up for sale, take into account the artist would have to manage with the organization of the exhibition the return of the artwork in order to be able to realize the shipment.
